LOCAL FLOORING EXECUTIVE
EARNS TOP INDUSTRY HONORS

Feruary 2006 – Dennis Clay of North Canton, OH recently achieved the highest status conferred by the industry by becoming a Certified Flooring Executive (CFE). To be granted this designation, they each had to pass a rigorous certification exam after documenting specific flooring industry educational training and work experience to qualify to take the test. The Certified Flooring Executive (CFE) certification exam is exclusively for owners and managers of flooring enterprises and certifies the highest competency in the field.

This certification program is administered by the Worl Floor Covering Association (WFCA), based in Anaheim, California. The WFCA is the industrt’s largest advocacy organization representing specialty floor covering retailers, manufacturers, distributors and suppliers across the globe. The organization focuses its emphasis on education and certification programs, industry conventions and tradeshows, providing effective tools for business management and offering a strong governmental affairs program to its 3,200+ members.
